The Methodist Church Reopening

You will have noticed that the land around the Methodist Church is no longer a building site. The Common is getting back to normal and the inside of the Church is transformed.

There is a wonderful new worship space upstairs – yes, there is a lift. And downstairs there is a large Hall with a kitchen adjoining, a small chapel, also adjoining the kitchen, and two meeting rooms, an office and the usual facilities.

All these rooms and the Church itself will be available for renting, either for regular users, or for occasional use. The whole building is an exciting new space, both for the church members and for Barnes. And the amazing thing is that all this has happened exactly one hundred years since the Church was first opened in 1906.

Our reopening service is on 10th September at 6.30pm when we shall be glad to welcome our friends from the other churches in Barnes.
