Reader's Letter

Dear Editor

Does anyone have any ideas of how to deal with the repeated destruction of the plants in the troughs/hanging basket outside the Day Centre by Barnes Pond?
This is an act against grannies and great grannies, who enjoy the bright displays outside the Centre and which cheers them up on dull, grey days. I would particularly like to hear from any young person (teenager or younger) if they have any idea why they feel they have to do this and what can we do for them to prevent this? It seems to happen during school holidays.
Yours sincerely,
Rosie Findlater
(A Granny)
