Barnes Branch Save the Children

At Barnes Branch of Save the Children we are keen to let you all know about our fundraising activities and how you might be able to help – hopefully having some fun in the process!

We are a relatively small committee but very enthusiastic and enterprising – and we are always on the lookout for new members! Every year we organise a variety of different events – art exhibitions, literary events, and our annual Christmas Bazaar, to name just a few. We are currently looking forward to holding a family lunch at a local restaurant and a quiz evening, as well as making our presence felt at both Barnes and Mortlake Fairs.

Anyone who would be interested in becoming part of our team would be made extremely welcome. On the other hand, if you feel that you are not really a "committee person", we are always glad to accept offers to help with specific events – anything, from baking a cake to holding a collecting bucket, can be a really valuable contribution.

So, if you are at all interested, please do call Victoria – 8748 5337.
