Christian worship in a village Church, West Bengal, India
Over the past few months Barnes Baptist Church has been forging links with SPORSHOW House Church Ministry who work in and around the city of Kolkata (Calcutta), India. In September 2008 Rev. Graham Pulham accepted an invitation from Pastor Piyal Mondal to visit some of the ministry’s fellowships. Less than 2% of India’s 220 million Bengalis are Christian but hearts are open and the desire to hear more about Jesus is very real. Please pray for Pastor Piyal, his fellow leaders and the ‘Go West Bengal’ Christian mission as they seek to share God’s love with some very poor, needy and yet wonderfully gracious people. |
